A school was held for the future musician missionaries termed as Musicianary Hyderabad India!

It was held from 2009 . This was the first school of its kind held in our state of Andhra Pradesh by any organization.

It was the passion and dream of Campus ministry to hole such a school.

Solomon initiated this and Paul and chandan from YWAM who completed SOMM backed him up. With the support of Joshua –the base director this dream took a shape and was launched successfully.

17 students from 6 different places of India attended and were awesomely blessed by God.

Different topics were shared by very prominent and anointed speakers. The topics were

Character of Musicianary

Missions

Music ministry

Identity and image of God

Discipleship

Sound engineering

Holiness

Worldview

Worship & song writing

Work shops were organized and a local band i.e. Sounds of the nations from Joyce Meyer Ministries took over the sessions.

Practical and detailed tips were given for sound engineering by Bro.Phillip from AG church. All the students were blessed and even the staff.

Praise Reports:

1. Financially it was dry at the beginning of the school but by the end it was more than sufficient and was remaining also. It was just like the situation on 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish which God blessed and was abundant.
2. One student by name Stephen from Nagpur was just a nominal Christian but a very talented musician. He accepted Jesus as his personal savior during this school
3. We had 4 small groups where the students opened themselves completely and were also challenged to stand in the gap for this generation through Music.
4. We divided the students to from into 3 bands wherein they came up at the end of the week with awesome and fine music which was a platform to praise God.
5. Four students and a staff gave commitment and pleaded to run such a school in their home towns and their church. Even some of the speakers were so much blessed that they wanted to conduct such school in their own church with the help of YWAM team.
6. In lieu of such response in the coming year three programmers were planned to be conducted in the following places wherein the school will be held for one week and then a rock concert would be conducted using this very team. The places are Warangal, Srikakulam and Nagpur.

We thank each and every one of you who prayed for us and thought of us.

With out your prayer support we would not have been able to do this. There was a lot of spiritual warfare. Some of the students became sick and we had few accidents happened in the base, which made us worry a bit, but just because of God’s Grace and your prayers we were able to sustain.

Please do continue to pray so that we can preach the gospel through music and also most importantly raise musicians who will carry the same vision for the generations to come.
